On Friday 31st August, we met with around 150 farmers at an open farm in Devon. This was at Beech Park, Pennymoor, Tiverton where David Waterman and his family have built a new 120 cow unit with 2 robots.
This is a fully tanked building measuring 135ft [41.16m] long and 100ft [30.5m] wide. David has installed Wilson Agri Pasture Mat mattresses with 20mm Premium Pad foam and moovApillows. These are all with the head to head C50-floor mounted cubicles. This unit is fully slatted and has only had cows in for 2 months.
